A mesh provides an advanced level of flexibility by allowing you to manipulate fills using a grid-based system. Think of it as a flexible net that you can stretch, bend, and reshape to transform your artwork. When you apply a mesh to a layer, you can:
- Transform fills without altering their original structure
- Create 3D-like effects with perspective and depth
- Add complex curves and bends to your designs
- Apply unique distortions that would be difficult to achieve otherwise
Each mesh consists of intersecting horizontal and vertical grid lines that form a network of control points. By moving these points, you can manipulate the entire grid and all artwork attached to it.
Note: Mesh will not affect certain fill types such as trace, handmade, wireframe, or scribble fills.
