Tunni Lines

See and adjust the tension on a curved segment.

A Tunni line connects the two handles of a curve. Its small pill control shows how much each side pulls on the curve.

Show Tunni Controls

Turn on Tunni Lines in the helper row.

A control appears on the curve under the pointer and on any curve that is already active:

  • A hollow pill is hovered.
  • A filled pill is active.

Click a pill to activate it, and Shift-click more pills to work on several curves at once.

Change Both Sides

Drag the pill to strengthen or weaken both tensions together.

Option-drag / Alt-drag shifts the balance between the two sides.

Balance or Reset

  • Double-click a pill to balance its two handles.
  • Option-double-click / Alt-double-click a pill to set both sides to 60%.

Use Arrow Keys

While a Tunni control is active, an arrow key changes it by 1%, and Shift with an arrow key changes it by 10%.

Show Tension Values

Turn on Show Tunni Tension in the panel menu.

Vextra prints whole-number percentages beside the control line, styled like the other measurements. A value appears only while its Tunni control is hovered or active.

Tunni Lines with Hidden Handles

With Show All Handles off, handles appear near selected and hovered nodes only.

Tunni Lines and Show Tunni Tension extend that rule: when one handle of a curve appears, the other appears with it, so you always see the full balance of the curve.
